A little about me!!

Hello! I am Scott Thompson, the owner & photographer of MX-ActionShots. I got my start in photography while in highschool, and that was back in the 35mm film days! From taking the pictures to developing them in the darkroom, instead of doing it on a computer!

A few years after highschool, I lost interest in photography, and the film days slowly disappeared, and the explosion of digital took over. I had got interested again, after our children started to get involved with their sports, and MX-ActionShots was created!

I specialize in motocross photography, as that is what really sparked my interest again, as my son, Braidy, is a racer! Then there's my two daughters, Whitlee & Kylie, who are very talented basketball players, and so the "stick & ball" sports was added to the mix! Sure glad that it did too, as they are enjoyable to photograph!

Another element of photography that has been added, has to do with my wife, Christine! She has been very supportive of me in pursuing this, and has encouraged me to do Portrait photography.  I have been doing Senior Portraits for the last 3 years now, and enjoy it very much.
